Four Steps We Use Ourselves

The same process we go through before a product ever gets listed on this site.

  1. Start with the animal, not the product

    Weight, age, species and where you live decide almost everything. Get those four right and the shortlist is usually two products long.

  2. Read the actives, not the brand

    Two products with different names often contain the same active ingredient at the same rate — at very different prices.

  3. Check the gaps

    The cheapest combination product usually leaves something out. Work out what it doesn't cover before you compare prices.

  4. Buy the pack size you'll use

    Bulk is only cheaper if it doesn't expire in the cupboard. We'll tell you when the small pack is the right call.
