Drench Resistance
Rotate the active group, dose to the heaviest animal in the mob, and use a worm egg count before you open the drum.
Withholding Periods
Every product page lists WHP and ESI. Plan treatments backwards from your sale or slaughter date, not forwards from today.
Flystrike & Buffalo Fly
Both cost weight and welfare long before you see damage. Preventative treatment ahead of the season beats any rescue.
Clostridial Disease
5-in-1, 6-in-1 and 7-in-1 are the cheapest insurance in agriculture. Sudden deaths in unvaccinated stock are usually this.
Mineral Deficiency
Selenium, copper and cobalt vary enormously by district. Test before you supplement — excess copper kills sheep.
Weaner Setbacks
A weaner that stalls rarely makes the weight back. Draft on condition and feed the tail of the mob separately.

How do I know if I have drench resistance?

Run a drench check: a worm egg count on the day of treatment and again 10–14 days later. If egg counts haven't dropped by around 95%, that active group is failing on your property.

Where do I find the withholding period?

It's on every product label and we list it on the product page. WHP applies to meat and milk within Australia; ESI is the longer interval that applies if the animal may be exported. Always plan to the longer of the two.

Can I use a sheep drench on goats?

Some products are registered for both, but goats need a higher dose per kilogram than sheep. Never assume the sheep rate is right — check the label for a goat rate, and ring us if it isn't listed.

Do you deliver to remote properties?

Yes, Australia wide. Freight on drums and bulk lines is quoted before you commit, and we'll tell you honestly if a line is better bought from a local depot.
